The time has come, time to search for a wedding photographer. There are a lot of photographers to choose from and for many, it is a difficult choice to make. Be at ease though because no matter your choice, you will be happy you had a professional capture your special day. My wedding photography style is raw, fun and candid. Although I enjoy taking my couples formal portraits, the real fun is capturing the smiles, tears, and excitement during the ceremony and reception. I love when my couples have immense attention to detail during their wedding planning and requests for me to reflect that through the images I capture. I attempt to do things different as a wedding photographer and to create a fun experience before, during and after your wedding day. This includes a wedding planning timeline meeting where we enjoy some coffee and break down every little detail of your wedding day. During that session, we will look at photos that inspire us and would like to recreate (with our own personal touches) on the wedding day and chat a bit about what to expect from me on your wedding day.
Leading up to the wedding day, there will be plenty of contact via email, phone or in person discussing different photos we want to capture in addition to more details about the wedding. A week or so before your wedding we will either meet up or jump on the phone to talk over any last minute details or answer any questions from both sides.
The wedding day is here! I and my second photographer will arrive (for full-day coverage) when the bride begins to get ready so we can capture all of the special moments leading up to “I do”. This can include photos of the dress, bouquet, bridal party and getting ready photos. Then we will continue the day from what is planned from previous conversation and planning.
We will stay at the wedding until the last song plays on the dance floor. We want to make sure every second is documented during your day so you can relive it!
After your wedding day, we will be in contact with you and reveal your “sneak peek” photos within 2-7 days. This will be a very small dose of what is to come. 4 to 6 weeks later we will have your reveal video ready and invite you to the studio or we can meet at your preference of choice (home, coffee shop, etc.) and have your reveal session. This is where we reveal your photos through a video, take a look at your photos in more detail and discuss any print purchases you may want to make.
I appreciate your interest in having me capture your wedding. It would be an honor to be a part of your love story and promise ever second will be unfolded for years to come through the photographs we create together.
You may be wondering “What is a reveal video?” Like mentioned above, I try to create a unique experience for my couples. Part of this is revealing your photographs through a custom-made video during a reveal session. Viewing your photographs for the first time should be special and memorable. This is done through reliving your day for the first time through a reveal video!
